Brian lives in the foothills of the Austrian Alps, where he serves as Director of Student Life for Franciscan University’s Study Abroad program. He has a passion for sharing the Gospel, and he emphasizes a message of hope in a culture that has lost its sense of purpose. Brian married the girl of his dreams, Courtney, in 2012, and they are the proud parents of Elliana and Little Brian.
For the past 12 years we have been known as the Jacob and Matthew Band, but through prayer and discernment we have decided to rename ourselves WAL. Moving into this new direction, we heavily discussed the question, “How does God see us?” In the end, our answer is quite simple. God sees all of us, wonderfully made, and wants us to know that we are loved. This love is what propels us to share His Love with other people, through music. We hope that WAL’s music draws each of your hearts to a knowledge and deep acceptance that we are loved unconditionally and passionately by God. Please join us in prayer to sing WAL’s music.
Father José Robles-Sánchez is the Pastor of St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport, Louisiana and is also the Director of Steubenville South. For over 18 years with the Steubenville Conferences and over ten years with Lifeteen Camps, he has devoted himself to providing young people with opportunities to find a true and endless life embedded in the Eucharist, which is the center of life for the Church, and absolutely must be the center of life for the youth. He loves challenging young people to have a better commitment with Christ and the Church, as this will help them live their call to holiness in their own culture and their own lives

He serves as director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at his parish. Raised in the inner city of Waterbury, Connecticut, Oscar was taught at an early age about survival. His method of avoiding the streets became God and hip-hop. For over a decade he has been an international speaker and performer. Oscar’s life is devoted to the new evangelization and his upbeat urban approach has made his message entertaining and easy to understand. Our faith is not boring and neither is Oscar.
