SPEAKERS AND MUSICIANS
Jon Niven is an extremely talented musician and songwriter who has helped usher thousands of people into the heart of Jesus with his gift for leading worship. The prayerfulness and genuine humility he conveys in leading worship are unmistakable and help lead the worshiper deeper into an encounter with God. He is currently the music minister for a Life Teen program at St. Mary’s in Dedham, Massachusetts. As the co-founder of LIFT Ministries, Jon has led worship for countless retreats, adoration services, healing services, Masses, and has played at many larger events such as Steubenville East, Proud 2B Catholic, the National Catholic Youth Conference, and Soulfest.
Father José Robles-Sánchez is the Pastor of St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport, Louisiana and is also the Director of Steubenville South. For over 18 years with the Steubenville Conferences and over ten years with Lifeteen Camps, he has devoted himself to providing young people with opportunities to find a true and endless life embedded in the Eucharist, which is the center of life for the Church, and absolutely must be the center of life for the youth. He loves challenging young people to have a better commitment with Christ and the Church, as this will help them live their call to holiness in their own culture and their own lives.
Oscar Rivera Jr. (“Two Ten”) lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his amazing family. He is a graduate of Franciscan University and is currently working on his MA in theology. He serves as director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at his parish. Raised in the inner city of Waterbury, Connecticut, Oscar was taught at an early age about survival. His method of avoiding the streets became God and hip-hop. For over a decade he has been an international speaker and performer. Oscar’s life is devoted to the new evangelization and his upbeat urban approach has made his message entertaining and easy to understand. Our faith is not boring and neither is Oscar.
Mary Bielski graduated from Marquette University with a double major in theology and psychology. As a volunteer youth minister for 10 years and the founder of ALL4HIM Ministries, Mary has spoken to over 40,000 teens around the nation at high school and young adult retreats and conferences, including Steubenville Youth Conferences, Life Teen-Inspiration, and parish and diocesan rallies. Mary talks on a variety of topics including conversion, prayer, the Holy Spirit, sacraments, chastity and the theology of the body. Using funny stories and engaging analogies, Mary draws her audience to the beauty of our Catholic faith, a deeper love for Christ, the Eucharist, and the call to holiness.
